Sarà disponibile in tutti i negozi di dischi, a partire dal 27 settembre 2011, "25 years", un esclusivo set de luxe per celebrare i 25 anni di carriera solistica e festeggiare il 60° Compleanno (2 ottobre 2011) di Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, in arte Sting. Oltre 100 milioni di copie di album venduti, 16 Grammy Awards, un Golden Globe, un Emmy Award e 3 nomination all'Oscar sono il percorso artistico che Sting affida al "best of" che sarà composto da un cofanetto contenente tre CD con quarantacinque brani, scelti dal cantautore inglese tra i pezzi più celebri della sua carriera solista, rimasterizzati per l'occasione. I supporti audio saranno accompagnati da un DVD, intitolato "Rough, raw & unreleased: live at Irving Plaza", che raccoglie immagini inedite del concerto di New York, tenuto dall'artista nel 2005, e 10 dei brani suonati a New York City durante l'ultima notte del Tour di "Broken Music". I 3 CD sono inseriti in un booklet di 132 pagine, a colori, con fotografie personali esclusive, testi completi delle canzoni e commenti scritti, per l'occasione, dal cantante in persona. Il cofanetto è prodotto da Rob Mathes e curato dalla manager di Sting, Kathryn Schenker. Come bonus track, sono presenti, in aggiunta, nove brani remixati da Robert Orton e Steve Fitzmaurice.
